The successful and well-tried fire-fighting centrifugal pumps FPH 16/8 and FP 24/8 will be installed as rear-mounted pumps on fire-fighting vehicles and on triple combination pumpers. The fire-fighting centrifugal pumps have a 2-stage design and work in very low rpm ranges. They are powered via a multi-stage prop shaft of the vehicle’s power take-off. The water can be pumped either from open water sources or from the vehicle’s water tank.

The suction inlet and the tank suction pipe are connected with the rear-mounted pump by means of a multiple-way spherical valve. The two pressure manifolds are flanged to the pump housing and equipped with one or two pressure outlets with shut-off valves. The pump shaft runs in a friction bearing located in the pump lid, the other end is fixed in a double-groove angular ball bearing located in the pump housing.
